About the projects
In accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 17 May 2024, approving the Roadmap for Expanding the Use of Natural Gas as Motor Fuel for 2024–2027, as well as the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 463 dated 21 June 2025, approving the Comprehensive Gas Industry Development Plan for 2025–2029, the Partnership is currently implementing the following investment projects:
Development of the CNG filling station network along the highways of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Construction of an LNG plant in Rudny
The project involves the construction of an LNG plant with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tonnes. Annual natural gas consumption is expected to reach up to 75 million m³, with commissioning scheduled for March 2028.
The project is currently at the stage of selecting a private investor/partner.
Construction of two CNG filling stations in Almaty
The project предусматривает the construction of permanent CNG filling stations along the Western Europe – Western China transport corridor, as well as the Aktau–Beineu–Atyrau–Uralsk route.
The project is currently at the concept selection stage.
Road construction works
The division is responsible for maintaining the service road along the Beineu–Bozoi–Shymkent main gas pipeline (667.6 km), as well as constructing well pads and access roads to drilling rigs at gas fields.
